Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, including tax filings and deductions.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documents and records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Proven ability to meet strict weekly payroll deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
