Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices accurately and on time to ensure timely revenue collection.
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries regarding invoices.
- Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain and update billing records in our financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Salesforce).
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary billing documentation.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency with billing software and accounting systems (QuickBooks experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
