Responsibilities
- Process payroll for over 200 employees weekly and bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Calculate and verify hours worked, overtime, commissions, and deductions for all staff members.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax forms (W-2, W-4) and direct deposit information.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual federal and state payroll tax returns in a timely manner.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax documents, and time-off balances.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficient in payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of FLSA regulations, tax laws, and payroll compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with the highest level of confidentiality.
