Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Conduct nightly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Verify and code invoices for accuracy, compliance, and proper coding.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, trial balances, and journal entries.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Finance Manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines during night shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
