Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees using ADP and QuickBooks.
- Verify hours worked, commissions, and deductions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (941, W-2s, etc.) on time.
- Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries via email and phone.
- Reconcile payroll bank accounts and prepare monthly variance reports.
- Assist in the annual audit preparation for payroll records.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficient in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA regulations, tax codes, and labor laws in Indiana and the US.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
