Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconciliation processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for weekend transactions
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial data handovers
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday 6am-6pm)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
