Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Reconcile patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate with insurance providers to resolve claim denials
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial review
- Train staff on billing software updates
- Collaborate with collections department for overdue accounts
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance required
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
