Responsibilities
- Generate and process accurate invoices using Epic EMR and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct client communication and documentation
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with insurance verification teams to prevent claim denials
- Update billing systems with CPT/ICD-10 code changes and policy updates
- Monthly revenue cycle reporting for department leadership
- Train new staff on billing protocols and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic EMR, Cerner, or similar EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
