Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices with high accuracy to ensure timely payment.
- Manage incoming payments, prepare bank deposits, and post payments to client accounts.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable statements on a monthly basis.
- Generate and distribute accurate monthly billing reports to management and clients.
- Maintain and update client billing records in our database systems.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and internal audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial field.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and numbers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
