Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries and assist in monthly financial statement preparation.
- System Management: Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.
- Payroll Support: Assist with processing payroll for weekend staff and contractors.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger functions, and attention to detail.
