Apex Financial Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Weekend Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entries for multiple clients.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and send weekly invoices and reconcile payment receipts promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Handle payroll processing for weekend shifts and ensure tax compliance.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation and archives.
- Assist external auditors with requested schedules and data during review periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
