Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts over the weekend.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately post journal entries, process invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly financial statements and variance reports to ensure our clients are up to date.
- Payroll Support: Assist with processing payroll for the upcoming week during your shift.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records are compliant with GAAP and company policies.
- Communication: Liaise with clients and internal staff to resolve discrepancies and answer financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect errors and maintain high data integrity.
- Schedule: Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
