Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews with high precision.
- Process payroll accurately for multiple entities.
- Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting is a plus.
