Responsibilities
- Perform End-of-Week Close: Ensure all daily transactions for the week are accurately recorded and reconciled by Sunday evening.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor details, and manage incoming customer payments with strict attention to detail.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure balances match internal records.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of weekly financial summaries and balance sheets for the management team.
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Update accounting ledgers and ensure all financial data is organized and secure in our cloud-based systems.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to standard accounting protocols and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot errors and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) consistently.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence.
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
