Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for the weekend period.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare preliminary financial reports.
- Process payroll and expense reports for weekend-eligible staff members.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and filing support.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
