Responsibilities
- Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, trial balances, and general ledger entries for the weekend period.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and issue client invoices to ensure timely cash flow.
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll entries and generate necessary payroll reports for the weekend cycle.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records, tax documents, and receipts.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or bookkeeping certification).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, reconcile data, and ensure high-quality output.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
- Availability: Must be available to work the required weekend shift (e.g., Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
