Responsibilities
- Oversee the weekly payroll processing and financial reconciliation for the weekend shift.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with internal ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the full-time team to transfer data and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably with weekend or shift work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
