Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for weekend clients
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports for client review
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Virginia CPA license preferred
- Weekend availability essential (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
