Responsibilities
- Perform weekend bank reconciliations and transaction reviews
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing for weekend transactions
- Assist with weekend payroll processing and tax filings
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and documentation
- Support weekend audits and compliance checks
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless handovers
- Implement weekend-specific accounting controls and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting capabilities
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tax preparation experience (individual/business)
