Immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk in San Antonio, TX! Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 100+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and input timekeeping data, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain payroll records
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax filings (Form 941, state unemployment, etc.)
- Process garnishments, deductions, and employee benefit enrollments with precision
- Generate payroll reports for management and conduct regular audits for compliance
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours with clear documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance knowledge
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM platforms required
- Strong understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables) and attention to detail
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus
