Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage attachments (taxes, child support, deductions)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Manage new hire onboarding and payroll documentation
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with employees
- Comply with FLSA, CA labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of CA wage orders and multi-state compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality standards
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in high-volume environments
