Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and audits.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to management to support financial planning.
- Process payroll data and ensure all payroll compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
