Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing adjusting entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports for executive review.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and support external audit requirements.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasting support.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
