Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Process payroll entries and assist with the preparation of tax documents.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to manage client data and ensure data integrity.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account status and billing inquiries.
- Assist in the annual audit preparation process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
