Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees with a focus on 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile payroll bank statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and file necessary federal, state, and local payroll tax returns and reports.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, 401(k) contributions, and garnishments.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files and payroll records in compliance with legal standards.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and deductions with professionalism.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, or a similar finance role.
- Strong proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks).
- Comprehensive working knowledge of FLSA regulations and federal/state tax laws.
- Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail.
