Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll using ADP or QuickBooks Payroll.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
- Assist auditors during the annual review process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation (1099s, W2s).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid work authorization.
