Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement analysis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and adjust entries.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
