Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and issue financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and maintain fixed asset registers.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero (required).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
