Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely tax document preparation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track expenses, budgets, and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
