Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Perform month-end close procedures and assist with tax preparation.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP, Gusto, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
