Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits and regulatory filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
