Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards for executive leadership
- Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and internal control implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial workflows
- Support tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in remote/hybrid roles
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with distributed teams
- Proven experience implementing process improvements in accounting operations
