Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees across 10+ states
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for timekeeping, payroll processing, and reporting
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24-hour SLA
- Prepare year-end W-2s and 1099 forms
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable HCM system
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and DC wage-hour regulations
- Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table capabilities
- Proven track record of 100% payroll accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with composure
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
