Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for diverse workforce using ADP system
- Verify time records and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors
- Manage employee benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff
- Assist in year-end tax filing processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll software
- Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- CPP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
