Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle payroll processing for a diverse workforce of over 500 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in gross-to-net calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (941, W-2s, W-3s) in strict compliance with current regulations.
  • Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, and tax statements.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to maintain accurate employee records, timekeeping data, and benefit enrollments.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll reports for executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Payroll Certification (e.g., CPP) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or Ceridian) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
