We are hiring immediately for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic finance team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP and Excel, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Verify time cards, timesheets, and leave requests from all departments.
- Calculate payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and tax information.
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly federal/state payroll tax reports.
- Assist with the onboarding of new hires regarding payroll paperwork and direct deposit setup.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar accounting role (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA, state labor laws, and federal tax regulations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
