Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Calculate payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and net pay with absolute accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to the Finance Director.
- Maintain and update employee timecards, leave balances, and payroll records.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end tax documents (W-2s, 1099s) and compliance filings.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay stubs and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure data integrity across all personnel files.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar administrative finance role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with complete confidentiality.
