We seek a meticulous Senior Payroll Clerk to manage end-to-end payroll processing for 200+ employees across multiple states. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions for taxes, benefits, and child support
- Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledger entries monthly
- Manage year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s) and compliance audits
- Train HR staff on payroll policies and timekeeping systems
- Implement process improvements to reduce payroll errors by 15%
Qualifications
- 5+ years US payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep understanding of FLSA, IRS, and WA state labor laws
- CPP certification preferred
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
