Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for diverse workforce including hourly/salaried employees
- Calculate and garnish deductions, bonuses, and commissions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns (941, 940, state forms)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and auditors
- Manage payroll system upgrades and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience in multi-state environments
- ADP or Ceridian payroll system proficiency
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Deep knowledge of Texas payroll regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage confidential employee data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
