Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including CA EDD requirements
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments with precision
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies quarterly
- Collaborate with HR on time tracking, PTO calculations, and new hire onboarding
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Stay updated on CA labor law changes (AB5, SB 1383) and implement updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent platform expertise
- Deep knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamentals of Payroll Practice) preferred
- Proven ability to manage sensitive data with absolute confidentiality
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
