Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including CA labor laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee benefits enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in real-time
- Generate payroll reports for executives and auditors monthly
- Onboard new hires with complete payroll documentation
- Collaborate with HR on employee compensation changes
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience processing multi-state payroll
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM system
- Deep knowledge of California labor laws and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex deductions and garnishments
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies
