Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now system
- Calculate and garnish wages for deductions, taxes, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledger monthly
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941, 940, etc.)
- Manage time-off accruals and leave-of-absence documentation
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct internal audits for payroll accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Louisiana payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
