Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping data with department managers
- Calculate and garnish deductions for taxes, benefits, and wage garnishments
- Prepare payroll reports for finance leadership and external auditors
- Maintain compliance with FLSA, IRS regulations, and state labor laws
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, IRS Form 941, and Texas labor laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
- CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Ability to manage sensitive financial data with confidentiality
