Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Calculate garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and complex deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage payroll reconciliations and journal entries monthly
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and audit documentation
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- ADP Enterprise or equivalent HCM system proficiency
- Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Experience with union contract payroll calculations
