Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across NC and surrounding states
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and annual W-2/1099 distributions
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll policy updates
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, NC withholding)
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
