Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and executive summaries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax document preparation with external CPAs
- Implement and optimize financial systems with automation tools like Bill.com
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Train junior staff on financial software and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience with tech industry clients
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and payroll tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or EA preferred)
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing client relationships and presenting financial insights
