Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping duties for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns to HMRC.
- Assist with year-end financial statements and audit preparation.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and financial reports.
- Process payroll and manage expense claims efficiently.
Qualifications
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant within the UK.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC guidelines.
- Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
