Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and P&L reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure GAAP compliance
- Oversee tax filings (sales, payroll, quarterly) and audit documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders for financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and client management abilities
