Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex medical/insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denied claims within SLA timelines
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits
- Generate monthly reports on AR metrics and KPIs for leadership
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Train staff on billing software updates and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical reasoning
- Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration
