Responsibilities
- Manage complex medical billing cycles including charge capture, claim submission, and payment reconciliation
- Resolve insurance claim denials with 95%+ accuracy through systematic appeals research
- Conduct daily AR analysis and implement collection strategies for 300+ provider accounts
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure CPT/ICD-10 compliance and documentation quality
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic Resolute and NextGen RCM systems
- Train junior staff on HIPAA-compliant billing procedures and compliance protocols
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports with actionable insights for leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Expertise in claim scrubbing, denial analysis, and A/R management
- Proficient in Epic Resolute, NextGen, or similar RCM platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced knowledge of Arizona Medicaid policies and commercial payer contracts
- Proven track record of reducing DSO by 15%+ through process optimization
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven approach to revenue recovery
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
